The Nova Scotia Nominee Program (NSNP) seeks out potential immigrants with the qualifications and background to strengthen the province’s economy and address demographic issues.With a three-month processing time goal, candidates who satisfy the requirements of one of nine different streams may be nominated for immigration to Nova Scotia.

Express Entry Experience in Nova Scotia

Immigrants with high skill levels and experience in Nova Scotia are eligible under the Express Entry Experience in Nova Scotia programme. Candidates must have a minimum of one year of experience in a position classified as a National Occupational Classification (NOC) O, A, or B.

Eligibility Requirements: Express Entry Experience in Nova Scotia

  • In Nova Scotia, at least a year’s worth of job experience
  • 21 to 55 years of age.
  • Graduate from a Canadian high school or an equivalent.
  • Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 7 for skilled labour in NOC 0 and A, and CLB 5 for NOC B jobs, respectively.
  • Create a profile and submit it to the Canada Express Entry pool run by the government.
