Required Minimum Points for Germany PR Visa
100 points are the required minimum score. Any combination of the following criteria is acceptable for obtaining these points.
- Mandatory German language proficiency: 50 to 25 Points (Minimum level needed is A2).
- Baden-Württemberg relatives who have adapted well (to the second degree): 50 Points
- 50 Points for an earlier stay in Germany.
- Extended stay in the EU: 25 Points
- Advanced French or English language proficiency: 25 Points
Even though the 100 points could be earned in any order, A2 level German language proficiency was a requirement. Additionally, the applicant’s credentials and abilities had to be recognized in Germany.
A pool of applicants was created for each candidate who met the language and qualification requirements and scored at least 100 points. It was available to employers in the concerned area of Germany. After getting a legitimate employment offer, chosen individuals were permitted to go to Germany and obtain a work permit.
What Requirements Must You Meet to Qualify for a German Work Visa?
To be eligible to apply for a German job seeker visa, candidates must fulfil the following requirements:
- Being of legal age. That is 18 years old.
- Possess suitable credentials. You must possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a German university, or a foreign degree that is equivalent.
- The need for experience. For the German job seeker visa, you must have at least 5 years of work experience.
- Evidence of financial security. You must demonstrate your ability to pay for your costs throughout your Germany residency.
